<p>PURPOSE:To obtain both differentials linearity and real-time processing by carrying out real-time weighting and smoothing by means of a hardware or software. CONSTITUTION:Input pulses are inputted to an up/down counter 3 through an A/D converter 2, etc. Pulses which are inputted at random, on the other hand, are counted by a 2<7> counter 4 through a sample holding circuit 1. When A/D conversion is completed, the counted value of the counter 4 is compared by comparators 5 and 6. Then, the counter output of the 1st digit of the counter 4 is used to determine whether the counter 3 counts up or down. The comparison range of the comparator 15 is 64-111 and that of the comparator 6 is 112-127; and their upper and lower limit values are set with upper-limit and lower-limit digital switches 7 and 8, so that five-point weighting and smoothing are carried out in real time. Therefore, a correct spectrum or image is viewed on a display device 12 throughout measuring operation, so both differential linearity and real-time processing are realized.</p> |
