PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which has excellent rigidity and low mold shrinkage, by blending a polyolefin resin, with gypsum fiber and a specified cyanic ester compd. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin resin (A) (e.g., PP powder) is blended with 10- 70wt% (based on the amount of the component A) gypsum fiber (B) having a diameter of 1-2mum and an aspect ratio of 10-120 in the form of a needle crystal such as alpha-type semihydrate, II type anhydrous gypsum, II type anhydrous gypsum, etc., and 0.1-10wt% (based on the amount of the component A) mono- or polyfunctional cyanic ester compd. (C) having the formula (wherein m is a number of 1-5; and R is an arom. org. grup and cyanoto group is attached to the arom. ring of said org. grup) [e.g., 2,2-bis(4-cyanatophenyl)propanhe]. If desired, a pigment, a flame retarder, an ultraviolet light absorber, an antioxi dant, etc., may be added.
