PURPOSE:To mold plural cosmetics of different colors in a desired design into a partition plate-free dish efficiently and to mold the cosmetics, by separately molding a base material having the top with a dent part and an inserting material to be engaged with the dent part, engaging the inserting material with the dent part and compressing molding both the materials to integrate them. CONSTITUTION:One cosmetic A is packed into a dish 1 and compressed by using one mold 2 and a base material A' having the top with at least one of dent parts a and b is molded (first molding process). Then, another cosmetic B(C) is packed and compressed by using another mold 7 and an inserting material B'(C') to be engaged with the dent parts a and b is molded (second molding process). Further the inserting material B'(C') is engaged with the dent part a or b (engaging process), they are compression molded and integrated (finishing process) to give a multi-color cosmetic put in a dish advantageously. In this method, at least the first molding process can be automatized, improvement in efficiency of molding operation can be contrived, a free design can be formed and a commodity can be provided with variety.
