PURPOSE:To make the pitch feed of a lot of integrated circuits performable at high speed along a chute rail, by attaching IC holding claws tightly to a pair of gears of a reciprocating mobile base driving in parallel with the IC conveying chute rail, and making them so as to be energized in an access direction with each other. CONSTITUTION:When a drive bar 14 is made to go down and separated from a cam follower roller 13, a partial gear 10 is rotated to the right, turning a holding claw 9a clockwise and another claw 9b counterclockwise respectively, thus they hold an integrated circuit in between. Here, when a mobile base 7 is moved horizontally and stopped via a shuttle base 5, the IC 2 is moved and stopped together and, after the mobile base 7 is topped, it will not glide in its inertia. Next, the mobile base 7 is moved to the right or left as far as the specified size via the shuttle base 5 and, after stoppage, when the drive bar 14 is moved and the roller 13 is lifted up, a pair of holding claws 9a and 9b are opened, separating from the IC 2. And, when the base 7 is moved to return to the right or left, the roller 13 rolls along the bar 14 and it keeps an open attitude of these claws 9a and 9b so that both claws will not interfere with the IC 2, thus they smoothly operate at high speed.
