PURPOSE:To prevent a camera from the generation of double exposure by constituting a safety mechanism so that once setting up any mode, the mode is not switched to another mode until a back cover is opened. CONSTITUTION:When a change-over switch 39 is slided in the arrow N direction to set up a normal winding-up mode and then the back cover 42 is turned in the arrow C direction to close the back cover 42, a stopper pin 44 is abutted upon the right side surface 39bR of a working part 39b of the change-over switch 39, so that the switch 39 can not be moved in the arrow P direction. When the switch 39 is slided in the arrow P direction to set up a pre-winding mode and then the back cover 42 is turned in the arrow C direction to close the back cover 42, the stopper pin 44 is abutted upon the left side surface 39bL of the working part 39b of the switch 39, so that the switch 39 can not be moved in the arrow N direction. Consequently, the camera can be prevented from misoperation such that the mode is switched on the way of the photographing of a film and the film is duplicately exposed.
