<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an instrument for a recording liquid enhanced in the corrosion resistance to ink, by constituting the area contacted with the recording liquid of the instrument for the recording liquid of specific plastic. CONSTITUTION:The area contacted with a recording liquid of an instrument for the recording liquid is constituted of plastic of which the turbidity based on JIS K0101 obtained by a specific test method is 0.15 or less. Said test method is constituted so that a test piece is immersed in 20 times by wt. of the test piece of a test solution comprising a composition consisting of 50wt% of a 5wt% NaOH aqueous solution and 50wt% of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone at 120 deg.C for 10hr and the turbidity of the obtained test solution is calculated on the basis of JIS K0101. As the instrument for the recording liquid wherein the area contacted with ink thereof is formed of the above-mentioned plastic, for example, a writing utensil such as a fountain pen, a felt pen or an aqueous ball-point pen, various recording apparatuses such as an ink jet recording apparatus and the like, an ink storage container, an ink supply tube or the like are designated. If the turbidity of plastic exceeds 0.15, an eluate such as a fibrous suspended substance or a crystalline precipitate due to the melting of the instrument for the recording liquid is formed in ink.</p> |
