<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the synchronization locking time and to improve the sound quality without incurring the deterioration of sound quality by increasing the number of bits of a frame pulse in the hunting period and a backward protection period more than that of other period in the frame synchronization system with respect to a digital transmitter. CONSTITUTION:A frame pattern 8 exists the head of one frame period 7 and a signal 9 exists after that in a data 6 corresponding to, e.g., a signal recovery period. A frame pattern 12 having 1 more bit number than the frame pattern 8 corresponding to the signal recovery period in the data 10 corresponding to a signal non-recovery period similarly and a signal 13 having a fewer bit number by the bit increment exist in the pattern. Thus, the bit number of the frame pattern is decreased and the bit number of a sound signal is increased in the normal signal reception period to keep an excellent sound quality, and the bit number of the frame pattern is increased during the period when the normal signal reception due to out of synchronism is disabled so as to reduce the time required for the synchronization locking.</p> |
