PURPOSE:To detect a fault in a hardware and to set optionally the reliability of a system and an allocation of the processing capacity, by executing repeatedly the same job, when the use rate of a central processor is lower than the upper limit use rate which has been set, comparing its result and confirming its coincidence. CONSTITUTION:When a job which is being executed is ended, a control means 2 checks by a management table 2-1 whether the job has been re-executed or not, and in case of the job which has ended the re-execution, the first execution result 4-1 of the job is read in from an auxiliary storage device 4 and compared with the latest execution result. In case a dissidence has been generated, the control means 2 informs its fact to a system operator through, for instance, a console device, etc. In case the average use rate of a central processor, which is informed by a central processor use rate observing means 1 has exceeded the upper limit value which has been informed by an upper limit use rate setting means 5, for a prescribed period, the control means 2 stops re-executing newly the job, and executes a comparison of the execution result and a notice in case of dissidence with regard to the job whose re-execution has been started already. |
