PURPOSE:To stabilize a starting property, to suppress a current at stand-by state, and to decrease holding torque at the stand-by state, by holding the stand-by state by one-phase excitation. CONSTITUTION:In a step motor composed of four poles of A phase, inverted A phase, B phase and inverted B phase, at stand-by state, for example, only A phase is excited and one-phase excitation stand-by state is made. At a starting state, A phase and B phase are excited and two-phase excitation state is made, and then ordinary two-phase excitation drive is made. After the drive ending, two-phase hold state is made, and then one-phase excitation stand-by state is made. |
