PURPOSE:To facilitate operation, and prevent core chips from scattering and improve yield by arranging all core blocks in positioning grooves respectively, and then slicing plates, one by one, with a cutter. CONSTITUTION:Positioning grooves 21 which each have an opening end V equal to the overall thickness U of a core block 1 and flanks parallel to a gap line are formed in parallel in a plate 2, and lower parts of core blocks are embedded in the grooves; and both members are joined into one body by applying an adhesive 3 between the plane of the plate 2 and flanks of each core block, and then the plate is sliced with the cutter along a reference cutting line. This method makes gap lines of respective core blocks parallel easily by utilizing the positioning grooves 21. Further, stress applied to cut core chips by the cutter in the cutting operation is reduced to lessen the inclination for scattering. |
