PURPOSE:To prevent a reinforcement from being deformed due to the pressure of plastic inflow, by inserting a support previously into a space in a reinforcement when a reinforcement having a multilayered structure with a space is integrally covered with a melted plastic to produce a molded item. CONSTITUTION:A generally C-shaped attaching seat body 3 is welded to a planer reinforcement 1 of metal or the like, and after a support 5 is inserted into a space 4 between the planar reinforcement 1 and the attaching seat body 3, the seat body 3 is attached in a mold 10 by a bolt 2. As the support 5, a material a little softer than the reinforcement 1 such as a polypropylene is used. Then a melted plastic is injected into the remaining cavity to be integrated with the reinforcement 1 so that a molded item may be produced. In this case, although the pressure of the plastic inflow is exerted on all the surface of the reinforcement 1 as shown by an arrow 20, the pressure 20' exerted on the space 4 of the multilayered structure is supported by the mold 10, and therefore the reinforcement 1 is prevented from being deformed. |
