PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly supply recycled chips without bridging by a method wherein first scrap sheets, the thickness of each of which is thinner, is ground and mixed with second scrap sheets, the thickness of each of which is thicker and is ground, so as to be received in a storage tank in order to be supplied to the following process. CONSTITUTION:A grinding and classifying mechanism 61 grinds scrap sheets developed after extrusion and processes the resultant ground scrap sheets with a screen having a mesh of about 8mm. A grinding and classifying mechanism 62 grinds scrap sheets developed after longitudinal stretching and processes the resultant ground scrap sheets with a screen having a mesh of about 6mm. A grinding and classifying mechanism 63 grinds scrap sheets developed after lateral stretching and processes the resultant ground scrap sheets with a screen having a mesh of about 4mm. Chips which passed through the respective screens are pneumatically conveyed through transporting pipes to a common storage tank 7. Both thermoplastic resin chips received in a storage tank 1 and the recycled chips received in the common storage tank 7 are dried at a drying mechanism 2 and then sent to an extrusion mechanism 3, a longitudinal stretching mechanism 4 and a lateral stretching mechanism 5 in the order named so as to obtain a thermoplastic sheet. |
