The present invention relates to the field of cutlery articles and its subject is more precisely a novel handle for the latter. According to the invention, a table utensil comprising the functional element proper, provided with a "tang": spoon, fork or blade, and a handle, is mainly characterised in that the handle consists of a metal rod 1 bent over into a loop, and in that the said functional element 2 is connected rigidly to the handle by a plastic connection piece 3 in which, the tang of the said element on the one hand, and the ends of the rod on the other hand are engaged.
