CRUSHING DEVICE FOR VERTICAL TYPE SINTERING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To quickly and efficiently crush sintered ore cake and to reduce the cost by fixing hammer blocks to horizontal shafts in the lower part of the sintered ore cake formed in a vertical type sintering machine and rotating and moving the blocks back and forth. CONSTITUTION:Powder sintering raw materials 11 and raw materials 12 for an air permeating zone are charged into the body 1 of the vertical type sintering machine to form a raw material layer 3. The raw material layer 3 is moved downward and a sintering zone 4 to continuously sinter the materials by air for sintering ascending from below. The bottom end of the sintered ore cake 5 obtd. in such a manner is crushed by a crushing device 30 disposed in a crushing chamber 6 and the resultant product is take out of a product discharge port 8 via a cooling layer 7. The above-mentioned crushing device 30 is constituted of the shafts 31 and the hammer blocks 32 fixed thereto. Many projections 33 are preferably formed on said blocks. The hammer blocks 32 are rotated and moved back and forth in arrow directions by the shafts 31, by which the sintered ore cake 5 is crushed.
