PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by blending an acrylic resin containing a specific polymerizable material with melamine resin, etc., having improved adhesive property of films and good operability and useful for the second base coating of automobiles, etc. CONSTITUTION:A composition, obtained by blending (A) an acrylic resin containing 0.5-2wt% bifunctional unsaturated carboxylic acid, e.g. itaconic acid, etc., in a monomer composition with (B) melamine resin, e.g. at 85/15-65/35 weight ratio and further blending the resultant substrate resin part with (C) other various compounds for coating materials and having improved adhesive property in recoating.
