摘要

PURPOSE:To utilize a dead volume effectively by fixing a thermostat to the back of a water pump body arranged at the side of the front endface of a cylinder block. CONSTITUTION:A water pump body 13 is formed integrally with a block 12 at the side of the front endface 12a of a cylinder block 12. A thermostat case 25 is fixed through set bolts 26 to the dead volume in the rear of the water pump 7. The thermostat case 25 comprises an upper case 27 and a lower case 28 where a bypath 9 and a return path 11 of a heater are connected to the upper case 27 while an outlet hose 8 is connected to the lower case 28 and a thermostat is contained in said cases 27, 28.
