PURPOSE:To keep constant finished quality, minimize the exchange frequencies of a rotary brush and enable continuous work by comprising the rotary brush of a cup-shaped brush and a cylindrical outer casing, correcting automatically the tip of the projected brush and carrying out a brushing process with the length of the tip kept approximately constant. CONSTITUTION:A rotary brush 3 comprises a cut-shaped brush 6 and a cylindrical outer casing 7 freely slidable along the external side of the brush 6. When the tip of the cup-shaped brush 6 projected from the open end of the outer casing 7 has worn by a predetermined amount, correction is so made automatically as to continue a brushing process with tip length kept approximately constant at all times. Even if the cup-shaped brush 6 is used for a long period and the tip thereof is worn, therefore, the correction of the brush 6 is automatically made, thereby conducting a brushing process with approximately constant tip length at all times. Consequently, brush finished quality can be kept constant. Also, the subject device is simple and in addition, the frequencies of the exchange of the rotary brush 3 become low, thereby enabling continuous work. |
