PURPOSE:To reduce the set-up time and improve the compensatory precision by turnably mounting a truing tool on a numerically controlled table and also turnably mounting correcting tool for truing tool on the holding base placed on a grinding platform. CONSTITUTION:When a truing tool 11 engaged around an arbor 10 is worn and deforms due to frequent corrections of a grindstone, truing tool 11 is held by centers 3 and 7, setting a dog 12 to be ready to be turned by a dog turning part 5, retracting a grinding platform 13, and manually positioning a holding base 19 horizontally in front of the corrected position to turn. Driving a motor 23 turns a correcting tool for truing tool 20 to numerically control both a table 2 and the grinding platform 13 as to take suitable positions and perform proper cut-away operation, whereby correcting and reshaping the truing tool 11. After demanded correction, the grinding platform 13 is retracted to the original position and the holding base 19 is positioned to be operational for the turning action. The correction of the tooling part can be performed on a grinding machine instantaneously.
