Zeolite, Sigma-1, has a distinctive X-ray diffraction pattern and is prepared from a reaction mixture containing sources of silica, alkali metal oxide and optionally alumina together with an adamantanamine compound and has the formula 0.1-1.5 M2O: Y2O3: at least 2OXO2: 0 to 4000 H2O M is a monovalent inorganic cation or 1/n of a cation of valency n, X is silicon and/or germanium, Y is one or more of aluminium, iron, chromium, titanium, vanadium, zirconium, molybdenum, arsenic, antimony, manganese, gallium and/or boron. |
