摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect any trouble with a water heater in synchronization in the control of the temperature of hot water supplied by providing a first temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of water moving toward a heat exchanger, a flow quantity sensor for detecting the flow quantity of water, and a second temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of hot water from the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A temperature TS set by a temperature setter 10, a temperature TC of supply water, a water flow quantity Q detected by a flow quantity sensor 7, and a feed hot water temperature TH detected by a second temperature sensor 8, are inputted to a control unit 9. A water control quantity (FF quantity) as computed based on the set temperature TS, the supply water temperature TC and the water flow quantity Q. A water control quantity (FB quantity) is computed based on the set temperature TS, the feed hot water temperature TH and the water quantity Q. Next, the FB quantity is compared with the FF quantity. If the FB quantity is larger than the FF quantity by predetermined value, it is detected that a trouble has occurred. More particularly, it is possible to detect clogging of a carburetor with tar, clogging of a burner 2, an abnormal output of an electromagnetic pump 3, clogging of an oil filter, and the like.
