PURPOSE:To perform efficient and economical function by forming a guide part in the external face of a cylindrical brush holding body in parallel with the axis thereof, said body having a revolutionally driving joint part at the upper part thereof, and by mounting a cup-like brush inside said brush holding body as the brush can slide along in the guide part. CONSTITUTION:A tightened cup-like brush 6 mounted inside a brush holding body 1 is released and slided in a guide part 5 along the axis of the brush holding body 1, and each of wires constituting the cup-like brush 6 is trimmed that the exposed wire parts of the brush from the body 7 have a specific length L. Thereafter, said cup-like brush 6 is fixed to the brush holding body 1 again with the exposed wire parts having the specific length L, and then turned inside the brush holding body 1 in such a state that the external brush constituent wire part 7 except the exposed brush part is safeguarded by the brush holding body 1, thus performing polishing activity, such constitution can satisfactorily meet the various operating requirements differing according to various working conditions, kinds of works to be polished and so on. When the wire constituents 7 are worn, they can be drawn out from the holding body 1 and used continuously.
