PURPOSE:To reduce the number of memories in individual label printers, by adding data on the number of labels, total weight and total sum to a totalization memory at each time labels are issued by any label printer, to eliminate the need for providing each label printer with a PLU memory of the same articles. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of label printers 2 and 3 are connected inline to one file controller FC1 in a real time system. The label printers 2 and 3 are all equipped with scales and have a function of issuing weighed labels. The label printer 2 is for back room while the label printer 3 for POS. With such an arrangement, when any label printer issues weighed labels for an article, data of the number of labels, weight and money value in the label printer are added to a totalization memory within a file controller in real time to be managed in batch as total number of labels, total weight and total money value.
