NEW MATERIAL:A cyclic peptide shown by the formula I [R is a group shown by the formula II or NH2-(CH2)4-; constitutent amino-acid may be L-, D-, or racemic modification] and its pharmaceutically usable salt. EXAMPLE:A compound shown by the formula III (Tyr is tyrosine; Arg is arginine). USE:An anodyne. Having a strong pain allaying action. This compound has an amino or imino group at arginine or lysine residue. PROCESS:For example, a compound shown by the formula IV (BOC is t-butoxycarbonyl; Bzl is benzyl) is condensed with a compound shown by the formula V (OMe is methyl ester) to give a compound shown by the formula VI, from which a protecting group is removed to prepare a compound shown by the formula VII. This compound is sybjected to ring formation to give the compound shown by the formula III in the example. |
