PURPOSE:To prevent a track plate and its connecting pin or the like from causing damage, by providing a means, which relieves the external force acting from the vertical direction by turning the track plate, in the end part of each track plate constituting a track belt wound around a sprocket. CONSTITUTION:An undercarriage main unit 1 in a caterpillar vehicle comprises a track frame 2, track belt 3 and a sprocket 6 turning this track belt 3. The track belt 3 is formed by endlessly connecting track plate links 4, comprising a track plate 4a and a link 4b, by pins 5, and connection parts 4c, 4d, for mutually connecting the neighboring links 4b, are provided in both end parts of the link 4b. Here spherical tread surfaces 6b are formed in both sides of teeth 6a of the sprocket 6, and a tread surface 4g of the link 4b is adapted to said tread surface 6b. This tread surface 4g is formed to a hollow spherical shape of the same curvature to that of the tread surface 6b. And in a case of external force F acting on one end side of the track belt 4a, the track plate link 4 is turned along the tread surface 6b.
