PURPOSE:To aim at the vibro-damping of car vibrations, by installing an elastic body, in a state of being compressed by as far as the desired value, between both output and input arms, and connecting both output and input members rotatably with each other in a relative manner. CONSTITUTION:An elastic body 11 directed in the circumferential direction is installed between an output arm 4 and an input arm 7 in a state of being compressed as far as the desired value, connecting an output member 1 and an input member 6 rotatably with each other in a relative manner. And, there is provided with a friction plate 12 which gives friction damping force to the relative rotation between both these output and input members 1 and 6. Here, the elastic body 11 is constituted of a coil spring consisting of a large diametral spring 11a bearing main spring force and a small diametral spring 11b. The large diametral spring 11a has its free length in which initial deflection load is released before the relative rotation reaches the maximum turning angle and the spring force is lost, while free length of the small diametral spring 11b is set to such a size that does not lose the spring force even at the maximum turning angle. In consequence, car vibrations can be effectively absorbed and damped.
