PURPOSE:To enable a multitemperature operation or a continuous operation extending to a relatively wide range of temperatures, by laminating two or more kinds of shape-memory alloys which have displacements different from that at the point of operating temperature. CONSTITUTION:A shape-memory alloy plate 1 which has a displacement deltaA at a temperature TA, a shape-memory alloy plate 3 which has a displacement deltaB at a temperature TB, and a steel plate spring 2 are laminated in 3 layers. By bringing the points of operating temperature TA and TB into close vicinity, continuous operation can be obtained at two temperatures TA and TB. If two temperatures TA, TB are kept apart each other, two-stage operation extending to a wide range of temperatures can be enabled. In addition, without being limited to the above, continuous or two-stage operation can be also carried out by using three or more shape-memory alloys.
