PURPOSE:To improve the combustion efficiency through the preheating effect by providing an expanding machine for passing the working fluid and performing the expansion work and a piping for feeding the working liquid discharged from the expanding machine to the burner section of a boiler. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is fed from a fuel tank 2 through a pump 4 to a heatexchange section 12. The fuel is thermally vaporized in the heatexchange section 12 and the vapor is boosted to drive an expanding machine 5. A load such as a generator 6 is coupled to the output shaft of the expanding machine 5. The fuel discharged through the outlet of the expanding machine 5 is fed through a piping arranged in the way with a flow control valve 8 to a burner section 11 where it is combusted to heat the heatexchanger 12. Consequently, the combustion efficiency can be improved through the preheat effect.
