PURPOSE:To make a headrest shiftable to a position where it is not in the way at the time of being unused, by connecting the headrest to a column, and moving this headrest up and down, while installing a driving device which makes it perform its rotational motion with the column as an axis. CONSTITUTION:A headrest 300 is movable up and down, while it is rotatably set up with a left pipe 330 as an axial center. Now, if upper and lower switches 430 of the headrest are turned on, this headrest 300 moves up and down via a driving part 500, as well as if rotary switches 440 of the headrest are turned on, the headrest is rotated as far as 90 deg. in the rear with the left pipe 330 as an axial center. With this constitution, when the headrest 300 is unused, it is rotated and moved without removing this, so that it can be made so as not to get in the way of rearview sight, or so as to get out of the way of baggage delivery.
