PURPOSE:To simplify the correcting operation and to reduce the load of an operator by providing a memory means for list of grammar information changing words and a collective word grammar information change means and the like which changes the grammar information on words. CONSTITUTION:The lists of reading and descriptions of the words inputted by an input means for list of grammar information changing words and changing their grammar information are stored in a memory means for list of grammar information changing words. If an instruction is given from a collective word grammar information change instructing means for change of the collective word grammar information, the grammar information on those words written in a grammar information changing word list in a dictionary are changed collectively by a collective word grammar information changing means. Thus the word grammar information can be changed by a single instruction and therefore the correcting operation is simplified in case the wrong grammar information on words is registered, and the load of an operator is reduced.
