PURPOSE:To decrease the number of interface lines by applying multiple connection to an interface between an alarm lamp display device and an alarm tone generator so as to make the alarm display device between a telephone exchange station and a device at a remote location in common and making alarm tone generators in a remote location in common. CONSTITUTION:Alarm display controllers 11, 21 of plural telephone exchanges 1, 2 collect detailed alarm information relating to telephone exchange main bodies 12, 22 and outputs the result externally via interfaces 13, 23. Alarm lamp display devices 14, 24 in the telephone exchange station connected to the interfaces 13, 23 apply alarm lamp display, analyze and extract the detailed information to drive alarm tone generators 15, 25 in the telephone exchange station. Then the remote location alarm display devices 32, 35 in a remote station 3 and the remote location alarm tone generator 33 are subjected to multiple connection so as to make the devices 14, 24, 15, 25 in the exchange stations 1, 2 and the devices 32, 33, 35 in the remote location 3 in common thereby reducing the number of connection lines.
