PURPOSE:To unify the management of the task source definition by preparing in advance a symbol name corresponding table so as to automatically convert the task source definition to a corresponding computer data of a new file system. CONSTITUTION:Task macro and task source definition files 1, 2 under the old file system of a data processing system of an electronic exchange operation program are transferred to disks 7, 8 under new file system by support programs 4, 5 respectively. Moreover, the mode name, the attribute of its mode name and the data map definition are outputted in case of the program compile from a SYSPRINT file 9. Further, the relation between the macro name of the file 1 and the mode name of the file 9 of the symbol name corresponding table 3 is transferred to a disk 10. Then the task conversion program 11 is started by each data of disks 7, 8, 10 and the file 9 and the definition of the file 2 is converted into a computer data file 12.
