PURPOSE:To decrease number of conductive poles of the entire antenna by adopting a different number of simple form of conductive poles, its shape and number of respective parts depending on the antenna aperture amplitude distribution while an undesired reflection is being suppressed effectively. CONSTITUTION:In the titled array antenna, column arrays 3 each consisting of an antenna element 1 and a power distributor 2 and the conductive poles 4 are arranged alternately. In the case of the titled array antenna, number of the conductive poles 4 near the center of the antenna aperture such as Tayler's distribution is increased and it is decreased toward the end. The antenna elements and the power distributors 2 are incorporated to form a linear array antenna. The power distributor 2 is of tri-plate structure, a dielectric spacer 6 is provided at both ends of a microstrip line 5 and a grounding plate 7 is provided at the outside. Further, a dielectric cover 8 is used to protect the antenna against rain or wind.
