PURPOSE:To improve the operability at the time of attaching and detaching a toner cartridge, by making an opening part of the toner cartridge coincide automatically with an opening part of a cartridge casing. CONSTITUTION:At the time of inserting a toner cartridge and aligning its aperture, first of all, a toner cartridge 7 is inserted into a cartridge casing 17, and a lever 31 is laid down in the direction as indicated with an arrow. A cartridge stopper 29 is pressed against the outer, peripheral surface of a grip part 13 of the toner cartridge 7, a light shielding part 36 operates a photoelectric sensor 34, and the cartridge casing 17 is turned in the direction as indicated with an arrow together with the toner cartridge 7 by a driving source. The stopper 29 is engaged to a notch 25 and obstructs turning of the cartridge 7. The casing 17 is turned continuously, and at a part where the aperture 8 of the cartridge 8 and the aperture 19 of the casing 17 have been aligned, a casing positioning shaft 30 drops down in a notch 27, a sensor 35 is operated and the rotation of the casing 17 stops. |
