The invention relates to an animal feed and to a process for the preparation of the animal feed in pellet form. Using waste material from the alimentary industries as starting substance, they are mixed, ground to a fineness of 70 to 85 % by weight below 2 mm, screened and treated with a carrier or carrier mixture in such a way that the water content of the composition is 7 to 13 % by weight. The mixture is then homogenised and pelleted. |
