PURPOSE:To enable an operator to grasp immediately the system state by delivering the stored system state information to a display device after detecting that the display device is active. CONSTITUTION:When an input/output data store part 12 receives the input data from a keyboard, the part 12 stores the input data in a store area corresponding to the display position on a CRT for said input data shown by the cursor position on the CRT. At the same time, the part 12 transfers the input data to a host device. A data display part 13 is started by the part 12 or a connection monitor part 14 to check the set/reset state of a state flag 15 and therefore decides the connection/disconnection of the CRT. When the connection of the CRT is confirmed, the display data is read out and displayed on the CRT.
