PURPOSE:To provide a recording medium for an information input/output tablet of an optical recording type which comprises a recording layer having a high energy incidence efficiency, by providing an optical recording alloy layer on at least one of face and back sides of an input/output screen. CONSTITUTION:An optical recording alloy layer comprises an alloy which has phases of different crystal structures in at least two temperature regions in a solid state. The spectral reflectance of the alloy in the state obtained by rapid cooling of a high temperature phase is different from that in a normal low temperature phase state obtained without rapid cooling, and the spectral reflectance of the alloy is reversibly changed by heating and rapid cooling in a high temperature phase temperature region and heating and cooling in a low temperature phase temperature region. In addition to the changes of light reflectance, the characteristics of this recording medium, such as spectral reflectance of electromagnetic waves, electrical resistivity and permeability can be also changed by partial or total changes of crystal structure through heating and rapid cooling. By utilizing these changes, the recording medium can be used for recording or displaying. When a heat pen operated by an electrical signal is disposed on the back side of a screen, characters or figures can be displayed on the same screen by an external input signal. |
