PURPOSE:To integrate carpets with a sheet by fusion welding by a method wherein the pile carpets are fitted into the recesses of the molding mold of the sheet and the heated sheet is arranged on the mold, then, vacuum molding is performed. CONSTITUTION:Carpets 2 are fitted into the recesses 3a of corresponding configuration, which are provided on a female mold 3 for vacuum molding, in converted state. Subsequently, a thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet 1 is supported by a clamps 4, 4 and is heated to the thermosetting temperature thereof by a heater H, thereafter, the vacuum molding operation of the synthetic resin sheet 1 is effected by the molding mold 3. The heated and softened sheet 1 is provided with patterns corresponding to the recesses and projections on the surface of the molding mold 3 and is adhered to the pile base cloth 2a of the pile carpet 2, whereby both of them are integrated by fusion welding. |
