PURPOSE:To prevent the insertion of a barcode plate by installing a protrusive movable member in a barcode plate insertion path, moving with pressure the movable member on the barcode plate and providing a guidance part guiding said member to the side of the barcode plate insertion path. CONSTITUTION:Narrow guide grooves 35 and 36 are provided in the horizontal direction so as to face astride a communication path 20. The pin (movable member) 37 penetrates through the guide grooves 35 and 36. A bending part (energizing means) 37b to energize a pin tip part 37c in a direction A is formed on the pin 37, and a substrate part 37a is supported by a lower unit member 30. If the guidance part of the barcode plate 1 is inserted into the barcode insertion path 21 of a barcode sensor 19 so as to abut on the movable part 37, it moves with pressure the member 37 as the barcode plate is inserted. The barcode plate is further inserted into the barcode sensor 19. If the lock part 6 of the barcode plate 1 is inserted into the insertion path 21 so as to abut on the member 37, it is locked by the member 37 to prevent the insertion of the barcode plate 1.
