摘要

PURPOSE:To make an efficient treatment in a photoengraving stage by automating the doubling treatment at the respective boundaries between the colors which are inevitably produced in the stage of forming a mask. CONSTITUTION:A desired image is read by an image inputting means 2 and a contour line obtd. by converting the binary image to a vector by an R/V conversion means 1a is disposed on a display part 4. The contour line 11 to be doubling-treated is extracted by a pointing device (PD)3d and thereafter a doubling section 12 is assigned by the PD3b; further a doubling treatment width 13 and a doubling treatment direction 14 are assigned, then a doubling treatment means 1b calculates the doubling contour line data to progress the doubling section of the extracted contour line 11 to be to be doubling-treated by as much as the doubling width to a doubling treatment direction 14. The initially picked up contour line 11 to be doubling-treated is displayed by a dotted line on the display part 4 and the contour line 15 for the contour line treatment is displayed by a solid line upon ending of the above-mentioned calculation.
