PURPOSE:To obtain a container which is thin and easy for containing work by laminating two of mounting parts whose center is recessed and which has a plane which is in contact with an edge portion of a wafer and a member provided with a stopper spring part on the opposite side of said mounting part. CONSTITUTION:The center of a wafer mounting part 13 is recessed and the part 13 has a plane 12 which is in contact with an edge portion of a wafer and is formed into a gentle corn shape. A stopper spring part 14 is formed by cutting a part of the plane of the mounting part 13 and it is formed obliquely downward as an extension of the bottom part of the mounting part. When an edge portion of a wafer is put on the plane 12, the spring part 14 formed on the bottom plane keeps a wafer contained in a lower member. By this constitution, it becomes possible to thin a container and to realize the simplification of a wafer-containing work. If a wafer is put on a member 1 and ten of them are piled up and those are contained in a box capable of containing without forcing or looseness, this is useful also for transportation.
