PURPOSE:To sufficiently satisfy both of the insurance of buoyancy at a rear portion of a hull at rest and the turning maneuverability at planing, by chamfering an angular portion formed at the intersection between the side and the bottom of a hull, and forming a chine at a lower angular portion of such a chamfered portion. CONSTITUTION:A hull 2 is formed at a side 11 and a bottom 12. The bottom 12 is constituted of a laterally central flat portion 12A and inclined portions 12B formed on both sides of the flat portion 12A which inclined portions 12B have a small angle of inclination. In a rear half area of the hull, an angular portion 14 formed at the intersection between the side 11 and the bottom 12 is chamfered, and a chine 16 is formed at a lower angular portion of such a chamfered portion 15. Accordingly, the reduction in buoyancy of the hull at rest may be minimized, and the reduction in turning maneuverability due to excessive buoyancy at the rear portion of the hull at planing may be prevented.
