PURPOSE:To make a housing space small by constituting a roof by dividing it into a roof part, a rear pillar part and a rear window part and so constituting that the rear window part may be rotated backward and next the roof part may be shifted backward and shifted downward together with a rear pillar part to be housed. CONSTITUTION:A motor in a rear part is driven by the operation of a switch and then a rear window part 12 is rotated backward and turned over to be housed in a roof housing part. At the same time, a motor inside a rear pillar part 11 is driven to house a rear quarter window inside a rear pillar part 11. Next after the roof part is shifted backward by a motor inside a roof part 10, the rear pillar part 11 is shifted, together with the roof part, downward together with the car width direction to be housed by the shifting device below the rear pillar part 11. By this constitution, the housing space for the roof can be made small and a trunk room can be secured.
