METHOD AND CALCULATOR FOR DETERMINING OFFSET AND ANGULARITY OF COUPLED SHAFTS

The specification discloses a calculator and method for calculating degree of offset and angularity of two shafts coupled together. At least one illustration of two machines having coupled shafts with gauges mounted on them appears on the face of the calculator. A series of indicator lights are placed near the illustration which light in sequence to indicate to the user what measurements to take and the sequence in which to enter this data. The calculator contains the appropriate equations in its memory for calculating offset and angularity from the data entered by the user.
