PURPOSE:To obtain the titled rubber material which is high in electric conductivity, colorable and excellent in decorativeness and processability, by mixing a hydrophilic group-containing synthetic diene rubber with a specified solvent and a polyelectrolyte. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. hydrophilic group-containing synthetic diene rubber (A) comprising acrylonitrile or styrene and butadiene and 5-60mol% hydrophilic group-containing monomer (e.g., 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) is mixed with 1-60pts.wt. water (B) as a solvent and 1-150pts.wt. polyelectrolyte (C) (e.g., polyacrylic acid), or 100pts.wt. component A is mixed with 5-200pts.wt. polyalcohol (B') having a b.p. higher than the heat vulcanization temperature of the rubber (e.g., ethylene glycol) as a solvent and 1-300pts.wt. component C.
