摘要 PURPOSE:To ensure accurate azimuth angle over all tracks without changing specified position of magnetic head by providing an azimuth angle adjusting mechanism in which the center of the magnetic head coincides with the center of rotation to allow independent adjusting from other adjusting elements. CONSTITUTION:A center hole of rotation 20, an azimuth adjusting hole 21 and a screw hole for azimuth fixing 22 are provided in an azimuth adjusting plate 19 that constitutes an azimuth angle adjusting mechanism. The center of rotation of the azimuth adjusting plate 19 coincides with the center of a magnetic head 3, and the azimuth adjusting plate 19 and a center shaft of rotation 24 constitute an example of the azimuth angle adjusting mechanism. By rotating an azimuth adjusting shaft 41 in the direction of the arrow mark D, the azimuth adjusting plate 19 is rotated in the direction of the arrow mark E around the center shaft of rotation 24. Thus, accurate azimuth angle can be ensured over all range of tracks independently from other adjusting elements by the simple structure that conforms the center of the magnetic head 3 with the center of rotation of the adjusting mechanism.
