PURPOSE:To stop a picture accurately at a prescribed position and to avoid the omission, etc. of a copied image by setting two sensors with a space secured by an amount equal to a distance double as much as the moving amount of a picture supporter obtained between the output of a specific stop signal and the stop of the picture supporter. CONSTITUTION:The space L between both sensors 21 and 22 is set in both film feeding directions (a) and (b) at a distance double as much as the film moving amount l1-l2=l4-l3 obtained between the output of a film feed stop signal and the actual stop of film. The distance between the right end of a mark (m) and the reference position Z is equal to l2 l4 when the film is stopped in each feeding direction as long as the film feeding speed is constant. Thus the film is stopped in a state where the mark (m) is always kept approximately at the same position regardless of the film feeding direction. Therefore, a desired picture frame A is stopped at a fixed position regardless of the film feeding direction. Then the space L can be changed in response to the film shift amount in case the film feeding speed is not fixed.
