发明名称 PRODUCTION OF GLASS SPHERICAL LENS HAVING SPHERICALLY SYMMETRICAL REFRACTIVE INDEX DISTRIBUTION
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a titled lens having high sphericity and spherically symmetrical refractive index distribution by executing glass synthesis by using a metallic alkoxide as a raw material and utilizing a soln. reaction under very small gravity. CONSTITUTION:An aq. alkaline or acid soln. is added to a soln. prepd. by dissolving the metallic alkoxide expressed by the formula Ge(OR)4, Ti(OR)4, Zr(OR)4 (R is a methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, etc.) and the quartz glass expressed by the formula Si(OR)4 in a solvent consisting of a methanol, ethanol, etc., and water to effect reaction and to obtain a sol soln. The sol soln. is admitted through a fluid inlet and outlet port 3 into a hermetic vessel 2 in which the very small gravity of <=10<-3>G is maintained and a dehydration condensation reaction is effected. After the soln. changes to a gel-like state, water is introduced through the port 3 into the vessel 2 and the inside of the vessel is filled with the liquid partly eluted with the component of the gel-like colloid to immerse the same in the gel-like colloid. The eluate is then removed from the vessel, dried and heated in a heating furnace 1, by which the spherical body of the glass is obtd.
