HIGH-NITRILE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR CALENDERING

PURPOSE:To improve transparency and to prevent a sheet from yellowing in the production of the sheet of a high-nitrile resin by calendering, by blending a high-nitrile resin with a alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt of a higher fatty acid and a phenolic antioxidant in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. high-nitrile resin is blended with 0.1-1pt.wt. alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt of a higher fatty acid and 0.01-2pts.wt. phenolic antioxidant. Examples of the phenolic antioxidant are di-t-butyl-p- hydroxytoluene and n-octadecyl beta-(4'-hydroxy-3',5'-di-t-butylphenyl)propionate.
