<p>The pipe end to be knurled is pushed over the largest diameter gear wheel (16), whilst the smaller gear wheel (18) has, at the other end, a hand wheel (19). The space between the gear wheels axes is altered by turning a handgrip (3), enabling a pipe end to be placed over the larger gear wheel which has a chamfered edge for easy positioning of the pipe or tube. A slide block (7) is incorporated for movement transmission of the spindle (14). The hand wheel (19) is rotated to provide the knurling action for the pipe end.</p> |
