PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out an accurate assembly by only positioning the lower side of a battery jar in the process after connecting the battery jar and the lid, by furnishing ribs at the parts of the jar to gear with the groove where the adhesive of the lid is poured. CONSTITUTION:In this battery, ribs 3 are furnished at the gearing portions to gear with the groove 2 of a lid 1 of a battery jar 4. It is effective to install the ribs 3 at two points each in the longitudinal sides and one point each in the lateral sides at the gearing portions of the jar 4. When the length of the longitudinal side and that of the lateral side is almost 1:1, or when the outer diameters are rather large, the positions of ribs are preferred to increase. When the ribs 3 are installed at the gearing portions of the jar 4 in such a way, even though some gap is produced in the injection-forming process, the looking is good enough because the jar 4 is covered by the lid 1. |
